The Masterpiece logo as used by Monington and Weston. The original factory was in Bayham Place, Camden Town in the area of London known as ‘the home of piano makers’. The serial number of 63020 indicates it was made mid to late 30’s The piano is in need of tuning, the case would benefit from some attention whether re-varnishing or painting. A compact upright piano, I believe a Monington & Weston with Herrburger Brooks Ltd action.
